Randy Hendricks grew up on a small farm in Michigan where he spent hours exploring the out-of-doors and developing his drawing skills. Primarily self-taught, he began painting seriously in 1982. He has created his own technique of communicating through painting by attending various artist workshops and studying the work of great artists. Hard work and persistence have earned Hendricks several awards at national art shows, as well as recognition in prominent art magazine editorials, including Wildlife Art Magazine (2000), U.S. Art Magazine (1999) and InformArt Magazine (1999). Hendricks was also featured in "Michigan Magazine" which aired on PBS television in June of 2000. Hendricks lives in Howard City, Michigan with his wife and their children. His work is displayed in both private and corporate collections.
