Two day workshop with artist Lou Heiser. First day will begin with a short discussion about perspective and color with an emphasis on values, shapes, and patterns, followed by a demonstration. The remainder of the time will be spent studio painting from your favorite photos with Lou working with everyone on an individual basis. The second day will be on location with another demonstration on plein-air painting(weather permiting). While instuctions will be in oils, all mediums are welcome.
Materials:
Folding easel or French easel,
panels or stretched canvas, (11x14 recommended),
(Lou generally underpaints with a wash of Winton brand burnt sienna),
brush sizes 2,4,6,8,
reference photos,
paper towel,
oderless turpentine,
sunscreen, hat, drinking water, etc.
